There is nothing wrong with wearing your hear natural. Maybe get a deep conditioner the night before just so it feels extra special or go in to your favorite salon for a professional blow-out. Updo's aren't for everyone. Check if you have a blowout bar locally and go get one. It is totally worth every penny.

2. Add Some Texture
If you don't often curl your hair this might be a great chance for you to add some fun curl. Depending on your dress you could go with something sleek or even keep things a little messier with a beach loose curl look. You may want to practice some of these techniques a few days or weeks before the big day.
Hair color can really add to your curls. This is a gorgeous melt. Before Miley went super short. Google Search Image.

Do you get the feeling that leaving your hair down is just too plain? You can always add an accessory to really doll it up and make it feel special. Go to your favorite Salon supplier and check out what they have in store. I know Claire's in the mall often has really cute hair flare also.

The last few years it has been all about braids. And braids are not impossible in short hair. You just need to know the right braids to use. Here are a few ideas.
The Waterfall Braid is a favorite. Its perfect with straight or curly hair and you can do this style just on one side of the head or all the way back or around the head. You can even do this one as a headband. There are so many options and it is stunning.
If you have at least shoulder length hair you could easily get some ribbon and do this braided ribbon headband. Photo and tutorial can be found at Locks and Locks of hairstyles.
Doing a simple braid by your face and turning it into bows can be really pretty. I know this is shown in long hair, but end the braid behind the ear and just do the bows to add a little extra detail for the style. Photo and tutorial from Cute Girls Hairstyles.
5. Low Chiffon
You aren't going to be pulling your hair into a high style since it is a shorter cut, but you might be able to pull it back into a beautiful low style. I recommend back-combing through the crown for this style to make sure it looks sophisticated and full... not ordinary and flat.
