Braided Ribbon Treasure

I'm going through some of my older files from the first of the year and I came across this simple style that had no edits done on it. (My watermark.) So I looked into it and apparently I never published this little gem! I wonder how many other flighty moments I had where I totally shot a style, but didn't get it posted. I guess its better late than never.

I found this clear back in January of this year. So its not that ancient, but it has taken me twelve months to get it published on the site. And who couldn't use a really easy style to add to there hair-tool-belt-weaponry?
This one really is as easy as it looks, but we are going to walk you through the process we took to get this look. First step you are going to establish your pigtails. Just secure them with elastics.

Taking your long ribbon piece, about 5-6 inches longer than the hair you are working with measures. and secure it using a new elastic as seen below. Don't think this is harder than it looks. It may get a little hard to hold the ribbon and the ponytail while wrapping it with the elastic, but just get the hair to this point. The hardest part is over.
Next you will be braiding the hair and the ribbon together. If you aren't familiar with this technique head over to our YouTube Channel and watch THIS VIDEO on how to braid with ribbon. Make sure you subscribe to us too while you are over there.
Once braided you are going to coil the braid up to make two pretty ribbon braided buns. All-in-all this is a easy one to use anytime. And its super cute. I am so glad I found this one and that it didn't get lost in my photo library abyss.
Beans still had bangs back when we did this hairstyle. That really was forever ago! Happy hair doing.
