Double Braid Halo Braid

I am so excited to be sharing this cute hairstyle with you. Beans and I have been having a really fun time with this style and styles like this. I love using a sock or doughnut for making this big beautiful bun. And its been a favorite for a while. It has been on my to do list for some time. Every other tutorial out there doesn't make this a secure style. One thing they miss is anchoring the doughnut with bobby-pins. The store bought doughnut is made/designed to be anchored. So do not skip that step.

This really is a cute style and we are pretty happy with it. I just need to work on it a bit more. I know there is a way to do this without bobby pins, but I just need to work on it a bit more. I have a friend who is a ice skater and she can not wear bobby-pins on the ice, so I'd like to come up with more styles like this that are ice-skater friendly.
The cute bun accessory bow that she is wearing is from All Things Ribbon from her super cute bun accessory line. We have a handful of them that we are going to be playing with over the next few weeks. And don't be surprised to see us having a giveaway in the next few days.

This week I had a few problems getting my video uploaded, so I am just hoping someone will have a good suggestion for video editing software that might be more user friendly. So if you upload please let me know what software you are using. Thanks guys I always appreciate your input. Thank you. Happy hair doing!

  2. Silent but perfect instructions! I can usually figure them out by looking at it, but you totally threw me with the lace braid- I thought it was 2 french braids at the top somehow woven together somewhere! I loved this video and I plan to try it out!

  4. You have such deft hands. This is such a difficult updo, but you make it appear so easy n quick. And it's so lovely o see beans sitting still. My girl starts squirming after a few minutes. And she always screams when I use Bibb pins. :-)

Thank u for such a wonderful up do.
