Feautured on...

Last weekend was a great one for us. At least as far as GDH goes. One things I love more about what Beans and I do is when we are lucky enough to be invited to post on other peoples sites. Especially when its a site we love to follow!

Saturday we had a hairstyle tutorial featured over at Skip To My Lou. If you've never been over to Skip To My Lou you need to go check out Cindy and all her talent! So many good idea's from crafts for every holiday to teacher appreciation gifts right down to... HAIR! It really is a great site to check out.
The tutorial we did was our Puffy Five Strand Braid. This really is one that is in our quicker style file. Once you have that stubborn five strand braid down this one is cake. And its pretty enough to be used for a fancy occasion. You can't go wrong with it!!!
I wanted to post this link on Saturday, but it was my first day back at the salon since my knee surgery and my knee BALLOONED up and swelled right back up from me being on my feet all day. This really is a problem! But I would appreciate it if you went over and commented on the post that we were featured in. Comments make the world go round for us bloggers, so thank you for letting her know you stopped by and liked what we did for them.

I was also fortunate enough to also be featured over at The Story of a Princess and Her Hair. We are part of Kori's round up of 13 different fun Spring hairstyles. There are some great hairstyles on her list and some awesome hair blogs that she has linked up through that post. Go check that out too.

  1. Puffy five strand braid..... I love this. Seriously... I'm going to have to try this one since I wear my hair in a braid nearly every day ;) I really love the bow accent you added to the hairdo. A gal after my own heart! I actually have a little bow shop for anyone that wants to replicate this hairdo or is interested. A bow makes any quick hairdo cute! Check it out :)

  2. So amazing and nice hairstyles. The post is so informative and awesome regarding the latest hairstyles 2013 .

  3. Such a smartly looking hair do! I wan to try something like that with my niece.
