Knots Video

I know I am slow, but I am determined to get some major posts up this week. I have three or four hairstyles already photographed and this one video as well, so I am going to start this week off right with posting this video for doing knots in hair. This really is the most simple thing to do to hair and it adds a super cute twist to a regular ponytail. I know most of my readers already know how to do these knots, but this video is for the several that have asked how to do these. I hope it helps!

  1. OH, thank you! This is really great and easier than I thought! My daughter has a LOT Of hair and I am always trying to come up with different styles for her and make it fun, too! The tool you used I'll have to go and look for, as well! I posted this on my FB wall because I'm sure that lots of my readers will love it!

  2. Ya cutie! I love that you called Beans "sweet pea". I call my girls that all the time. Did we get that when we were little? lol I'm quasi at knots, so thanks for the reminder. I think I just pull them too tight? I'm excited to try the short knot style on both of the girls. :) Keep the good ideas comin'!

    1. It's called a topsy-tail - it was hugely popular in the late 80's early 90's. I think I wore my hair like that every day when I was in elementary school :-) Just search it on google - you can buy them just about anywhere (amazon online, but also your local CVS/Walgreens should have them too). Happy hair-doing!

  6. What fun! I'm horrid with hair and my poor little girl is always running about either in a ponytail or as a wild, moppy thing. I've got books with cute hair-dos in them... but they're so TIME-CONSUMING! I think I shall surprise her in the morning by doing this quick, easy, fun do! Many thanks to you!

  12. Love this! I tried it today on my daughter's curly locks - came out a bit less neat, but just as gorgeous, and suited her perfectly.

Mentioned in my blog today - hope you don't mind! http://barefoot-mummy.livejournal.com/15238.html

    Thanks for the tutorial :)
