Here's my second idea that can be done on any short hair. (Well--- maybe not a pixie cut, but if someone has a pixie cut and wants to try it I'd love too see what you come up with.) This really is easy. It is just four (three or five for less or more hair) simple knots in the hair. Its not much, but its dang cute and it is different than just wearing it down.

It kind of reminds me of
waterfall braids how it lays on the head, but these ones aren't going anywhere- no slipping or falling out for this hair do! We love it and its fast and very easy--- got to love that factor!

If you do this hair do and would like to share we always love seeing what you are up to on
our facebook page. Thanks for sharing.
**UPDATE** Check out this video for more help on this hairstyle.
Ohh, love this one! I did this a few times on my middle daughter when her hair was still long, but I hadn't thought of it after the haircuts. Gonna have to try it! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteYes I agree with you. This style is looking good for my daughter. I do it with coconut water treatment
DeleteThank you for nice share
Are these knots made with a topsy tail?
ReplyDeleteThey can be Brandi--- I don't use the topsy tail to do them, but you could easily.
ReplyDeleteThis does have a similar look to the waterfall braid. I like them both. This style I can actually do for sure and my hair is quite a bit longer. This is versatile for short and very long hair.
ReplyDeleteYou know those threaders for when you floss with braces? Totally use those when I do this hairdo. {:
ReplyDeleteIs there a link for how to do this style? I'd love to try this on my daughter for school!
ReplyDeleteWhat are the steps to recreate this style? My daughter would love this and her hair is about the same length. #newbietostyling

I found your blog while looking for hair styles for myself. I am letting my hair grow out and am stuck in that awkward stage where I just can't do a thing with it. LOL... I LOVE what you have done with this style. Please forgive my ignorance. I haven't worn anything in my hair since I was a child myself. Do you use bands to secure the knots? I would love to see a picture of how you did this. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see a step by step for this one. My daughters hair is just this length and I need more to do with it than just a flower in it. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWould also love to know how you did this!
ReplyDeleteMe too! I want to know how to do this!
ReplyDeletei would love step by step for this also...
ReplyDeleteI found this hairstyle on pinterest and have been doing my 7 year olds hair like this frequently. Every.Single.Time I do her hair like this, she gets stopped constantly with people telling her how cute her hair is! It's our new favorite style. Thanks for sharing it with us.

My daughter has this type of hair and I can't do anything with it! I would love to try this on her for picture day next week. I am horrible at doing little girl hair and need step by step instructions. Where can I get some instruction?
