This is a hair do comes from my Lady Gaga hair do. I just love making bows from hair. For another good bow hair do you can check out this one from a while back.
Start with pig tails.
Start with pig tails.
Make your first loop and cinch that tight with a rubber band. You will then repeat that making a loop out of the other half.

That is so cute!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks

those are sooooo cute!!
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE this one but can't figure out the "pull the hair up and over" part.
ReplyDeleteVery cute!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable but I can't figure out how to hold to loops and get the rubber bands in to hold them at the same time! A video would be helpful. (I'm sure that's a lot of work though!) I'll keep trying...
ReplyDeleteHow well does this hold up at school? Anyone have any feedback?? (little girl....1st grade)
ReplyDeleteLove this! I tried this but had a really hard time even trying to get the first two loops of the bow....and then didn't quite understand how you loop hair over to cover the elastics......any tips would be appreciated! : )

I just played around and done this one. A few things i found... Instead of doing two individual loops and using two elastics I ended up twisting the two pieces a little (help with the fly aways as well and using one elastic for the two loops(ie slipt them up after you add the elastic). Another thing is instead of going through the top elastic and back down I used the topsy tail and fliped the piece of hair down behind the elastics then rejoin at the bottom.(My girls hair is shorter so you could do this again for longer hair to add a little bulk) Just thought this might make it a little easier for some people.
ReplyDeleteDoing this one I was also starting to think of the idea about having 2 tails of hair coming off the bow instead of finishing off with the one pony. wouldnt that be cute, would just have to work out how to secure/hide the piece of hair that made the bows.
sorry long comment.
i love this one!
