It's October!

October is--- TOP SHELF! In my opinion. So this month I will be taking a little time off to make the costumes my kids have chosen. And yes I let them choose and yes I LOVE THE CHALLENGE!! My oldest D gave me the biggest challenge this year with Lou from Guitar Hero. Beans is being Princess Aurora and Baby is my simple one with being Mario. His is almost done except the hat. D's horns are done and I just need to attach them to something wearable and Beans is completely cut out.

What I am saying is that this month I will be spending a lot of time with another one of my hobbies. And I am going to be running reruns for the month of October. But this won't be like crappy reruns you don't care if you miss--- I will make sure and show only the best and throw in a few giveaways--- You guys cool with that?

PS--- I changed my profile picture to this one of Beans and me--- Don't you love it!

  4. Yeah, I'd say you've got your work cut out. But seeing the work you've done, you'll make them just beautifully. And ironically there is an ad in your sidebar for costumes - and one is for Mario & his sidekick! Too funny. And love the pic of you two.

  5. My kids are being Mario and Luigi also, I found the cutest hats on Amazon, we chose the plain ones that are only $5 dollars and will had our own letter. Just thought I send a little tip, I too am the mom who lets them pick and then figures out how to make it! Thankfully this year is soooo easy! miahx4@hotmail.com

  10. I LOVE Halloween so much. I hope you'll post pictures when you're done with the costumes, homemade costumes are becoming so rare these days. Iolanthe always want to be something obscure so we always have to make hers too...this year she wants to be Wiley Kit from the Thundercats! I don't think they've made Thundercats costumes since the 80s, so off we go to the fabric store.
