Grocery Store Steal

Love this simple hair do!
You know what I love most about it... it came free with the cake mix I bought for my son's birthday party. I get some of my idea's and starts from other people, but this is 100% how I saw it on the cute little 17 year old(ish) gal that was shopping the store at the same time. And I just fell in love with the simplicity of it.
So cute!Start by parting out a section form the front and clipping it out of your way.
Place your head band right in the part line that you have sectioned off.
Now take that front hair out of the clip.
Rat/back comb it a little for a little extra lift.
Pull back
And secure. I double secured mine using four bobby pins total.
Then you pull it into a low pony tail.
You have your head band in place giving it some cute extra detail that is not the plain old deal a head band usually ends up being. Plus if you are like me that front part is always all over the place and the head and doesn't really do its job when you use just a head band.
Simple...cute...different.

P.S. Sorry no front view on the next couple of do's since we are all puffy eyed with a mean cold Beans has given me the permission to tutorial these do's with the stipulation of no face photo's. If you think its bad that she already thinks like that you don't know the half of it. She told me yesterday it was time for her to have her own credit card.

Don't forget to scroll down and enter my giveaway there is still a little time left.

  2. Totally something I could do when my daughter wants "just a ponytail" but we are going somewhere nice and I would like her hair a little more fancy! Great do!

  3. I did this one in my own hair, but it had a variation to it. If you don't mind I would like to post it on my blog. but of course I would link it many times to you!
