Life is still busy, but I had to take a work break and relax and have a little fun today.
Hope you enjoy.

This is one we have done from the time we worked with long hair. I don't know why it has taken me so long to post this one. Its pretty darn cute. And it works super well for short hair.
I bet you get the idea right away after you see this picture.
I bet you get the idea right away after you see this picture. But I'll explain anyways.
Start by separating the hair.
Now you are going to make the four twists in the hair. divide out your first section of hair.
you will divide that in half.
You are going to twist each half into each other. so the one on the right you will twist counter clockwise and the one on the left will be twisted clockwise. And what you are going to do is start twisting with you hand aimed low and once your twist gets tight fold your hand up.

And the hair will follow. You will have a pretty twist.
Now hold that tight while you twist the other one. Remember to twist it clockwise so they combine well.
Just like that!
Secure with a rubber band.
Now repeat this for all four sections.
Part the top in half either with a strait part or get Fancy and go at a huge angle. I did the huge angle. And make that into piggy tails.
At this point you will make your messy pigs any way you like. If you like how I do mine just see this post for my step by step.

Beautiful as always!
♥ Very cute!!! :)
I am totally go to try this in my little girls hair tomorrow. Thank you for all your amazing hair ideas. My daughters hair would not be so cute without your amazing talent.
That's awesome, but what can you do with ultra curly hair? :-)
This is so cute! I need to work on my twists, but this looked adorable on my 3 yr old! I am really enjoying your blog, especially since I have never been very good with my girls' hair - thanks for all the fantastic ideas!
Pretty, pretty. I do need to practice, though. Mine doesn't look as nice as yours. Lucky I got me a gaggle of girls for practice!
I did something similar to this with my daughter's very barely there hair, but did knots instead of twists. Worked similar and easier for finer hair on smaller girls (she is 15months)I really like knots for little girls who are just getting hair. Specially to keep bangs out of the face.
I love this style. I only wish my little one would sit still long enough for me to do it...
I deleted the mean comments for your own protection. I don't want anyone to come to your blog and be as mean to you as you were to me. So if you are here looking for what others said or what you said as one of the mean commenters.... sorry. They are all gone!
love it.. good to know someone else loves it too... lol and who would know its short or messy lol.. i know ours is hugs nicole

I just did this hairdo on my little girls hair. Very easy and super fun!
Very Cute! I will have to try the bottom part of the hair do maybe with a twist pony-tail or something. I don't know I'll have to brain-storm.
